Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 3, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our video downloading service. By using this service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We are committed to being transparent about how your data is handled.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use our service, we collect the following information:

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this only to identify your account and personalize your experience.

Download activity: We store metadata about videos you download, such as the video title, platform, quality, and timestamp. We do not store the video files themselves on our servers unless you are a paid subscriber with personal cloud storage enabled.

Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as the number of downloads performed and storage used. This helps us maintain service quality and enforce plan limits.

3. Google Drive Access

If you choose to connect your Google Drive, we request access to the following Google API scopes:

drive.file: This allows us to upload downloaded videos directly to your Google Drive. We can only access files that our application creates. We cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in your Drive.

drive.metadata.readonly: This allows us to read storage quota information so we can show you how much Drive space is available in your dashboard.

We do not access, read, or store any existing files in your Google Drive. Google Drive access is entirely optional. You can disconnect it at any time from your account settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the service, authenticate your account, enforce subscription plan limits, display your download history, and show your storage usage in the dashboard.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted infrastructure provider. Download metadata is retained for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication and optionally Google Drive for file storage. These services are governed by Google's own privacy policies. We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles all payment information directly and we do not store your card details. We use Cloudflare for infrastructure and content delivery.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, and revoke Google Drive access at any time through your Google account settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email listed below.

8. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
